Australia's ACCC is to review the unfair payment practises Corporate Australia forces onto SME's under Reverse Factoring Programs (SCF)".
Reverse Factoring has got the attention of the ACCC following a submission by the Australian Federal Opposition Party, who was responding to complaints by SME's related to extended payment terms.
SME's in Australia account for a third of Australia’s GDP and employ over 40 per cent of the nation’s workforce. It is estimated that the segment has an $83B funding gap.
